The strap is made out of a string of leaves and two more chain-strings. This makes the strap stable, but also cute at the same time. You could also braid the strings together to make it sturdier. The Basic Beret - Free Crochet Pattern

Hello everyooone, I'm happy to finally post the free pattern of the Basic Beret here on my blog! Why am I starting this blog? 🤭💖

Helloooo and welcome to my first blog post! Let me explain a bit about why I'm even starting this page 🤭 On June 14th 2025 I published my first free pattern on my Instagram page (@crochet_witheli), The Basic Beret, and since then I've been thinking about making a blog for my patterns. 🤭 So far there's only one pattern, but I just finished the draft of a second pattern. (Spoiler: it's inspired by Totoro 🍃) Basically the plan is to make this a free collection of my future patterns and maybe share some of my pattern tests (which I do quite a lot of 😅). I am a bit afraid that having somewhere else to post regularly will overwhelm me, so I'm not putting any pressure on myself, but just doing this for fun 💖🫣 Thank you so much for being here and reading my first post!
